The heart of Gateway’s mission is to make disciples and includes a desire to reflect the love and hope of Christ in every interaction—and our Hospitality and Impact Teams are the front line of that mission. We believe that every person who walks through our doors should feel seen, welcomed, and valued. That’s why we embrace the calling to “be the first smile people see”, believing people “see” the gospel before “hearing” the gospel.

Our Parking team helps reduce the frustration of finding a parking space, while our Greeters are at every entrance, offering warm smiles, handshakes, and heartfelt welcomes that set the tone for a meaningful worship experience that includes singing and teaching. Ushers serve with grace and attentiveness, helping guests find seats, distributing materials, and ensuring the auditorium is a place of peace and order. At The Café, hospitality is served with every cup—creating a space where conversations flow freely and relationships begin. And behind the scenes, our Security Team provides a quiet but vital role, ensuring that every guest, from adults to children, feels safe and cared for from arrival to departure.
