Expect a warm welcome, coffee, and amazing people, and plenty of volunteers to direct and answer questions! A typical Sunday will include a time of worship, studying the Bible and community in our lobby spaces!

What should I wear?

We welcome you to come as you are. Whether you prefer to dress up or dress down, we encourage you to wear what you feel comfortable in.

What about my kids?

How can I get connected?

Getting connected at our church is simple! One way to start is by attending our Party with the Pastors event, held every fourth Sunday of the month after our 11:30 gathering. This is your opportunity to meet the Pastors, hear what Gateway stands for, and learn how to get involved. Another option is to join a Small Group where you can connect with other people and grow in your faith. We also have awesome events throughout the year that you can attend and be a part of. Lastly, you can always reach out to one of our pastors or team members who would love to help you find your place at our church.

Meet Our Pastors

Jeffery & Joanne Portmann

Jeffery and Joanne were High School sweethearts and are Peninsula kids who moved back to lead the Gateway team in 2024. They have two sons, two daughter-in-loves, and one granddaughter. You may find them connecting with people in the lobby on Sundays or walking along the Poulsbo waterfront during the week. They love the opportunity to present Hope and develop people.
