Gateway Students
Youth Ministry of Gateway Church in Poulsbo, WA, serving middle school and high school students across Kitsap County.
Our mission is simple:
Growing Faith, Building Community, Living for Christ
Our heart is to help every student take their next step toward Christ. We believe this generation isn’t just preparing to lead the church someday—they are the church right now. Gateway Students exists to create spaces where students can experience God, build real friendships, and learn what it means to follow Jesus in their everyday lives.

A Place to Belong
and Grow
Life as a teenager can be full of challenges and questions. Gateway Students offers a safe, encouraging community where students can be honest, challenged, and discover God’s truth together. Our gatherings include passionate worship, practical Bible teaching, and small group discussions that help students connect faith to their life. Whether someone is new to church or has grown up in faith, there’s a home for them here.
Every leader in Gateway Students is background-checked and committed to walking alongside students as mentors and role models. We value safety, trust, and authenticity—so parents can feel confident knowing their students are in good hands.
Weekly Gatherings
Gateway Students meets multiple times each week, giving students consistent opportunities
to grow deeper in their faith and relationships:

Small Groups are the heartbeat of Gateway Students. Students meet in smaller settings to study Scripture, talk about life, and build community that lasts.

Youth Group is our main weekly gathering, filled with worship, teaching, games, and connection. It’s energetic, relevant, and centered on Christ.

During the second gathering, students have a chance to grow through Bible teaching while being part of the larger Gateway family.
Annual Events
Some of the most powerful moments of growth happen outside the weekly rhythm. Gateway Students offers several major events each year designed to inspire faith and deepen relationships:
(February)
A weekend winter camp packed with worship, teaching, and outdoor fun in the snow.
(Late July)
A week full of worship, adventure, and moments with God that students never forget.
A high-energy event equipping students to lead and live boldly as the next generation.
